Development and Validation of the QUALI-PALLI-FAM Questionnaire for Assessing Relatives' Perception of Quality of Inpatient Palliative Care: A Prospective Cross-Sectional Survey

Context Relatives of patients receiving palliative care are at risk for psychological and physical distress, their perception quality can influence patients' life. Objectives The purpose this study was to develop validate the QUALI-PALLI-FAM questionnaire (QUAlity PALLIative car from FAMilies' perspective) measure families' satisfaction with care. Methods An exploratory factor analysis conducted, we evaluated questionnaire's internal consistency using Cronbach's alpha, its stability across various strata, correlation between (factors, total score, global satisfaction) score FAMCARE (FAMily CARE) questionnaire. Results This multicentric prospective cross-sectional survey conducted in seven French hospitals, namely, three units four standard medical a mobile team. completed by 170 relatives (more than 90% had advanced cancer). final included 14 items domains: organization availability caregivers, information provision, confidence involvement relatives.
